Is experience necessary to decorate walls with ClayBeton mixture? We share the story of Sandra and her husband.
You have probably already heard about our latest product, ClayBeton. We developed this mixture last summer. It stands out from other MR. CLAY products because it contains not only clay plaster but also cement. As interest in this wall decoration grows, we are receiving more and more questions from you. One of them is: do you need experience to plaster a concrete-imitation wall with ClayBeton mixture in your home? The answer is: experience is not necessary. An example of this is the story of our customer Sandra and her husband.

Most of the customers who contact us are furnishing their homes or renovating their interiors and are looking for interior wall finishes. In this case, Sandra and her husband were no exception. The couple became interested in our latest product, ClayBeton. It is important to mention that Sandra and her husband's activities are completely unrelated to wall finishing, but the couple decided to try their hand at plastering the wall themselves.
The wall chosen for plastering was next to the stairs. Before plastering, the couple prepared the wall with Ardex P51 deep primer and TOPCOLOR quartz primer. Finally, they finished this stage with Bluedolphin tape for sensitive surfaces, covering areas where the mixture should not get.
At first, plastering seemed like a difficult process that required a lot of effort. Sandra admitted that she wanted to cry, but the couple quickly got the hang of it and finished plastering the wall. The next day, after removing the polyester film used for ClayBeton decoration, the result was simply stunning. This time, she said she wanted to cry with joy because the wall looked just as she had hoped. The walls were properly covered with the mixture, and the patterns created resembled real concrete.

For greater wall protection, the couple decided to varnish the wall. The varnishing process was not difficult, as precise recommendations were followed. Once the varnish had dried, the final look was even more appealing. The texture and pattern of the wall became more pronounced, creating beautiful accents in the space.
We were pleasantly surprised and delighted with the result—the walls look amazing!
