Decorative plaster for a concrete effect — clay and cement based. One 4–8 mm layer and the wall reads as real concrete; no one will suspect it is not. The same mix also produces travertine stone effects.
The mixed material stays workable for 2–3 hours, so there is no need to rush. The process is not complicated, but it has its details — to get it right the first time, we invite you to our workshops.
COLOURS
The base of the mix is light grey. The sample palette includes 19 colours, and you can tint it yourself with any of more than 120 different MR. CLAY pigments, all suitable for every mix.

APPLICATION SYSTEM
The decorative ClayBeton plaster is applied in a single layer, 4–8 mm thick, and then a water-sprayed polyester sheet is immediately placed onto the wet surface. The surface is shaped through the polyester sheet and left to harden for 12–24 hours. After removing the polyester sheet, the surface should be allowed to dry and then coated with Mr. Clay Varnish No. 1.

All absorbent surfaces must be primed with a deep-penetrating primer (e.g., ARDEX P51 diluted with water 1:1) and then coated with an adhesion primer.
Non-absorbent surfaces must be primed only with an adhesion primer.
MIX PREPARATION
Pour 8–9 L of water into a container of at least 35 L capacity.
Add all the pigment (if using color) and mix thoroughly with an electric mixer.
While continuing to mix, slowly add the entire ClayBeton plaster package. Mix well and let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
Note: The wet mixture color will appear brighter than when dry.
⚠️ The mixture must be applied to walls within 2–3 hours. After that, it will harden and become unsuitable for use.
APPLICATION ON WALLS / TOOLS
ClayBeton can be applied using standard troweling tools.
For an even layer, it is recommended to start with a notched trowel (6–8 mm) and then smooth the surface with a finishing trowel.
DRYING TIME
Depending on ambient temperature, humidity, and the size of the plastered area, drying may take 12–24 hours.
Removing the polyester sheet too early may result in an improperly formed surface.
