Wall decorating workshops in Kaunas: four modules, what you learn and how the day goes
Wall decorating workshops at the MR. CLAY studio in Kaunas – one day in which you carry out real decorative plaster techniques with your own hands and see how a clay plaster, concrete effect or microcement-look wall is made.
The workshops are for people who want a natural wall finish in their own home, and for professionals who want to offer decorating to their clients. You work on 50×60 cm boards: mixing the plaster, applying it with a trowel, shaping the texture and watching the surface change as it dries. All tools, mixtures and pigments are provided, and you take your finished boards home.
Groups are small, so you can ask as many questions as you need. Everyone receives a certificate at the end of the day.

Four modules – four different days
Each module is a separate one-day programme with its own techniques. You can take them in any order – no experience or preparation needed. €150 per module.
Module I: first textures and a smooth surface

How the day goes

How to book
- Choose a module and a date. Each module has its own page with the next available date.
- Buy one ticket per participant. Write the names of all participants in the order notes.
- Receive the arrival e-mail. After payment we send you everything you need: the address, a map, where to park and what to bring.
How to find us
Europos pr. 72E, Kaunas, 3rd floor. Enter “Mr. Clay Kauno studija” in your navigation app – it will take you right there.
The area is large: the easiest option is the big car park entered from Veiverių g., then a short walk through the inner yard. The entrance is the glass door marked E72.
Rescheduling and cancellation
If you cannot attend, let us know at least 3 days before the workshop and we will move your booking to the next available date free of charge, once. Without notice the payment is not refunded.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need any experience?
No. For most participants it is the first time holding a trowel. Every technique is demonstrated up close and we help everyone individually.
What should I bring?
Nothing. Tools, mixtures, pigments and aprons are provided, and your clothes will wash clean. Bring some small cash for lunch.
Do the modules have to be taken in order?
No. Each module is a standalone day with its own techniques, so you can start with any of them.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, a certificate is handed out at the end of the workshop.
Can the workshop be given as a gift?
Yes. Buy the workshop for someone else and write their name in the order notes.
Will I be able to decorate my own walls afterwards?
Yes – that is the point. By the end of the day you will know how to prepare the wall, how much plaster you need and how to achieve the texture you want.
