The tools you need to start

• Stainless steel float — the main tool for applying and smoothing the plaster.
• Application roller — a fast way to lay the first coat.
• Trowel or scraper — for small corrections and corners.
• Decorating brush (“RIGATO”, SPALTER, synthetic) — for textures and subtle effects.
• Sponge and spray pump — for damping and finishing the surface.

Special texture tools

A wood-effect pad, a flexible steel comb, a tool for vertical lines, PVC decorating blades — each belongs to a particular technique: waves, aged walls, “Vulkanas”, concrete and travertine imitations.

If you are buying for the first time, the simplest route is a DIY decorating kit, where the tools are already matched to one technique. To learn a technique in person, join our wall decoration workshops in Kaunas. And if you would rather not do the work yourself, we recommend the best craftspeople.
