Naturally, the mixtures produced by “Mr. Clay”, are white or brown, therefore on purpose of obtaining other colours, a pack or more, if indicated with the colour, of mineral pigment has to be poured of the desired colour during the mixture preparation. Carefully read the information below about the colour system and pigment mixing recommendations. Colour palette is adapted to WHITE DECORATIVE CLAY PLASTER, but is also suitable for other mixtures. On purpose of seeing how the same colour pigment will look with another mixture, testing has to be performed.
RMT – means that it is the natural colour of the brown finishing clay plaster or, if an additional colour number is indicated, such as RMT 119_B, it means that this colour is obtained by mixing the brown finishing clay plaster with the colour pigment 119_B. If only the colour number is specified, for example 105_B, then in order to obtain such a colour, the colour pigment 105_B must be mixed with a white finishing clay plaster.
Some pigment colors contain red mineral pigment, which tends to be more difficult to mix, therefore we recommend pouring the entire contents of the colourant cup into water through a strainer, stroking with a spoon at times.
